The Bird is developed in collaboration with pediatric physiotherapist Lene Raadkjær Jørgensen, who is the owner of BabyTummel which offers development classes for babies and children.
The Bird is for you who want to support the baby’s natural development, among other things with the right lying position. Baby enjoys the Bird right from birth to facilitate head lift when baby is lying on its stomach.
Being happy to lie on your stomach is an important for motor skill development.
When the baby can crawl, the Bird is a stimulating challenge to get up and over. When baby can walk, the beak is a motivating ramp to try to go up and down, and the baby’s development has become a breeze.
You can read an interview with Lene here or download the BabyTummel app with motor exercises 0-18 months – read more at babytummel.dk.
Below you can see two films that show how the Bird from Units can be used.
